By Gjergj Erebara in Tirana
Diary of Tirana – Peoples here in Tirana fills humiliated lying. European surrocrats are pushing back Albanian dream for free visas regime. At Monday, 26 May, Vice-President of the European Commission, Jacques Barrot, visited Sarajevo and promised free movement regime for Bosnians. At 8 May, Barrot had been in Belgrade promising the same for Serbians and for Macedonians. For Albanians and Montenegrins seems that till visas liberalization will be achieved, we should wait many other years.
Government in Tirana seems to be worried not so much about Visa-Isolation of the country as for vote-loosing effect. But Mrs. Jozefina Topalli, Speaker of Albanian Parliament said at Brussels in Monday that “EU should not use double-standard in visas liberalization process”.
Instead, European Commission is using double-standard and real-politics as well in Western Balkans. In Serbia, seems that Brussels had brought election victory of pro-European president Boris Tadic, by paying promises for free movement. In Bosnia was cut the same deal, while we, Albanians have not nationalists and pro-Russian politics to sell in exchange for free visas regime.
